When Chase was 16 years old, he was featured on NPR's From the Top with Host Christopher O’Riley (Show 299) in the Alexander Kasser Theater at Montclair State University, Montclair, NJ.

He performed the Schubert Impromptu No. 3 in G Major, accompanied by Christopher O'Riley and performed with the Shanghai Quartet.
